Welcome to the Sweetwater Yacht Club

Sweetwater Yacht Club was founded in 1989 and has been promoting fun on the water ever since. While SWYC is headquartered at the new Sweetwater Marina and Riverdeck on the beautiful Mullica River, our members come from all over South Jersey.  We have members from Mystic Islands, Bass River, Great Bay, Maurice River and Nacote Creek to name a few places. We are a great group of people who love to go out and have fun in the sun!

We’re not a sailing club, or a power boat club or a personal watercraft club, we are a social club and the only rule for joining us is the desire to have fun and participate in the group. Each year we host great events. We kick off the boating season in May with annual burgee raising party followed by an epic float down the river in July. We end the boating season with a bang with our Fantail Weekend at Atlantic City’s Golden Nugget Marina. We formally meet once a month at Sweetwater Riverdeck, but more often than not, we see each other every weekend of the summer, either at The Riverdeck enjoying a drink, on the docks at the marina or out on the water.  We would love to have you join us!
